EnEn, Your partner in hydro power developments
Water streams + EnEn = Clean Electric Power

EnEn is a Swiss company which was established in year 2009. It was mainly built for taking over all activities of the former company Turbinor, excepting the operation and maintenance of Turbinor owned power plants.

EnEn company is specialized in the engineering of small hydro projects but provides also commissioning services for large hydro power plants.

The founders of EnEn are also the founders of Turbinor (ref. www.turbinor.com), being active in hydro power plant projects since 2004.

Starting with detailed market studies and thorough site analysis about the remaining potential of hydrological resources in Europe and Asia, the company founders first developed and built the small hydro power plant of Sonceboz "Sous les Roches" in Switzerland (2005).

Our mission is to provide comprehensive solutions for small hydro power projects, those however being developed in a thorough but straight forward approach. We are focusing on the competitive advantage we can provide to our customers.

In the years and following various project developments, experience could be acquired in concepts and designs as well as in evaluating the performances of key suppliers and engineering offices acting in the environment of small hydro power plant projects. Jobs on large hydro power plants further helped us to identify the similarities and the differences between the technologies and methods which are suitable for small and large hydro designs.
It is fact that nowadays almost unlimited possibilities are available in the specific field of small hydro, as far as the development is concerned and about the choice of suppliers and partners.

In this emerging business, counting both serious companies as well as do-it-yourself players, it is not uncommon that projects are left unattended or realized far from being in line with a reasonable investment or just ending without reaching the guarantied performances.

Many parameters need to be carefully assessed while planning hydro projects. It is however also not efficient to invest in long administrative debates and reports, a tendency that too many engineering offices seem to practice, probably to justify their work and to get evidence for issuing invoices or just because they can't make the right choice.

In response to the customer needs, EnEn has built a partnership with HYDROHROM and TURBOMA as well as a few selected suppliers and service providers to work in a safe and most efficient manner towards the specific project requirements.
